Miranda Welton

Miranda, Deputy Manager for Norwich, oversees audits and assessments and was nominated for the ‘Joy Maker Award’ in 2024. She’s known for her positivity and client support.

Miranda is our Deputy Manager for Norwich. She has been in the care sector since 2017, previously managing her own care home for three years. Miranda joined us in 2022 as a domiciliary carer, quickly progressing to become part of our Home First support team in and around the Waveney area.

In September 2023, Miranda was promoted to her current role, where she oversees audits, assessments, supervisions, care planning and more. Miranda is also our Freedom to Speak Up Guardian, meaning all colleagues can approach her with any concerns. She is currently undergoing training to become a Mental Health First Aider for Cavell. Miranda is based in the Norwich head office but is always happy to visit other offices to lend a helping hand!

Miranda likes to go out regularly to meet new clients face-to-face; she enjoys being out and about, supporting our clients in any way that she can.

Her colleagues think highly of her and say that she is an asset to the team and beams positivity, so much so that she was nominated for the ‘Joy Maker Award’ at the Great British Care Awards in May 2024.
