Sam Parsons

Sam is one of our dedicated, soon-to-be Registered Managers of our new Cromer office.

Sam is one of our Registered Managers. She manages our new Cromer office and has recently passed her level 5 in health and social care.

Sam is experienced in the sector having started care work in 2016. Sam started off as a carer then worked her way up the ladder to now managing her own office, Sam said if she can do it, anyone can do it, there are so many job opportunities within the care sector all of which are so rewarding!

Prior to joining the sector, she worked in accountancy and says she had always wanted to work in care but was nervous about whether she could do it, but she decided to bite the bullet and says she has never looked back!

As a Manager Sam is responsible for the day to day running of the Cromer office and 20 plus dedicated staff, Sam is also responsible for carrying out audits, managing care plans, undertaking risk assessments and shift planning, as well as managing personal care to name just a few. Sam is largely based in the office but does go out on the road as she feels it is important to keep in touch with clients and staff, plus she loves nothing more than looking after and meeting new people.

Sam says she absolutely loves her job with Cavell and it’s because of Cavell she has been able to achieve her goals! She also says her colleagues are fantastic and when asked what her hobbies are, Sam simply says “work!”. She is so glad she made the shift to the care sector when she did and warmly encourages anyone else to give it a go as it is so rewarding.
